hello everybody,
I am a student of corporate colleges like narayana and sri chaitanya.
like every other student,i heard a lot about these colleges and planned to join in anyone of them after my high school.They used to call my parents and even used to visit us weekly once,asking me to join their colleges.Another thing they were telling me was that the top rankers in any competative and coaching exams were from their colleges and would help me to get good rank for becoming a engenieer or doctor.
Finally when my parents decided to put me in the college,I had to agree. When I applied for the admission,they gave me a booklet showing the details and features of the college.I noticed many pictures showing people studying and reading.The last page obviously was filled with photos of the toppers along with their ranks and total marks.I thought this is proably a good college to study for my further education.
Unfortunatelly,I was wrong.None of the information i saw in the booklet was true.
On the first day itself of the college I noticed the horrible infrastructure.The teachers could not speak English properly.The maths lecturer was refering a guide while teaching.
There were tests every monday.If anybody fails or gets less marks in those 'unworthy' tests,the lecturers beat and insults the students.They even discourage the students by telling all nonsense like "You will fail in your whole life; You will never succed in your life" and all that crap.
Further,the students who get less marks must stay back after the college.Besides these weekly tests,they even conduct EAMCET and AIEEE exams.I litereally became insane unable to take this stress and preassure.
I even have a friend who stays in residential hostels provided by these corporate colleges.He used to complain about the college facilities whenever I used to talk to him.He complained that the time alloted for sleeping is less and not sufficient;the room is not spacious,the surroundings of the residential hostel are very unclean and unhygienic.Further,he also told that the teachers dont teach properly and beat the students for every small and big reasons.The food that is provided tastes awful.The students get to make a call to their parents or family once a day.The problem is that they dont have anyone to complain about this issue.
The students are not free even on sundays! The students must study or write some tests on sundays.
These corporate colleges are making the lives of many students miserable.
Inspite of knowing all this,the concerned authorities and the board of intermediate is not taking any action against them.
After studying in these colleges,I had the worst experience of my life.My opinion about these colleges is that these colleges work only for money and not for the welfare of the students.The college management divides the students in various "sections" depending upon how they study.The college lecturers give importance and care only for those who study well.They dont care about the weak or dull students or slow learners.They do all sorts of advertising and publicity for making the students or making the parents join their children join their colleges.They even say they give coaching and all for competative exams,but they never teach properly and that becomes a burden to the students.
I therefore advise and suggest all the students who completed their schools not to join these Narayana and Sri Chaitanya colleges for your intermediate.There are many better colleges and 10+2 schools to study and where the teaching facility is better.I also suggest all the parents not to forcably put your child in these colleges.This colleges cause more harm than good for the students life and future.
Remember, always make the right choice in an important descision, you will not get a second chance to make it upright again.
